Position Overview:
Under minimal supervision, the Plumbing Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and installing plumbing systems in residential and light-commercial settings.

Must hold a master plumbing and/or gas license as mandated by local regulations.

Ensures compliance with relevant plumbing codes and standards.


Responsibilities include assembling, installing, or repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, or drainage systems according to specifications.

Engages with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and guarantee complete satisfaction.

Promotes company products and services.

Reports to the Field Supervisor or General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves plumbing issues in a courteous and professional manner.

Identifies potential problems to prevent unexpected breakdowns or callbacks.


Maintains and repairs plumbing systems that transport water, steam, chemicals, and fuel by replacing defective components or clearing blockages.


Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures; tests joints and pipe systems for leaks, and measures, cuts, threads, bends, and installs pipes and fittings.

Inspects various systems to identify malfunctions.

Assembles pipe sections and fittings using appropriate materials and techniques.

Utilizes specialized techniques for welding small pipes or unique piping.

Locates and marks the position of pipe installations, connections, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments.

Installs pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and appliances using hand or power tools.

Ensures that company property, vehicles, and tools are maintained and accounted for.

Maintains current plumbing and/or gas licenses as required by regulations. Adheres to standard procedures for vehicle maintenance and stock management.

Represents the company with professionalism and integrity in all business dealings.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with formal training in plumbing.

Seven years of experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation.

Valid plumbing and/or gas license as required by local regulations.

Current knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations. Proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to operate necessary tools and equipment.

Effective communication skills for customer interaction and issue resolution.

Strong time-management and organizational skills. Must be willing to mentor junior plumbers in technical skills and company procedures.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.

Ability to lift and carry items up to 100 pounds with assistance and work in various environmental conditions.
