WATER TREATMENT SPECIALIST
The Womelsdorf-Robesonia Joint Authority is in search of a dedicated Water Treatment Specialist.

The ideal candidate will engage in a range of responsibilities essential for the effective management and upkeep of the Authority's water treatment facilities and distribution network.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime during evenings and weekends as necessary. The hourly compensation will be competitive and based on the candidate's experience.

Benefits include:

Requirements for candidates:

  • possess a high school diploma or equivalent,
  • hold a valid driver's license in Pennsylvania with a clean driving record since 2015,
  • be capable of performing physical tasks such as digging, lifting, climbing, and standing for extended durations,
  • have skills in basic plumbing and pipefitting,
  • demonstrate basic computer proficiency,
  • mechanical skills are advantageous, and
  • exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and the public.
Furthermore, the selected candidate must successfully complete the following background checks upon employment:

  • Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain waterworks operator certifications upon employment if they do not already possess them. The Authority will cover the costs of the necessary training courses.

The selected individual will undergo a one-year probationary period and will be subject to regular performance evaluations.
