Job Summary

The Highlands at Harbor Springs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our resort facilities, including guest rooms, meeting rooms, corridors, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and all other public spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain all areas of the resort to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas of the resort are clean and well-maintained.
  • Monitor and control the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure they are used safely and efficiently.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of new housekeeping staff.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that all housekeeping staff are adhering to our cleaning standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Valid driver's license.
