Your Opportunity:
We're seeking a qualified Child Care Center Teacher to join our team of experienced professionals in the infant and toddler space. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for meeting the educational and physical needs of each child, building positive relationships with parents, and implementing and continuing the center's program in the absence of the coordinator.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the coordinator, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate for the children.
- Meet the educational and physical needs of each individual child, providing a safe and nurturing environment.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment through observation and ensuring equipment is suitable for children's developmental skills.
- Provide input for conferences with parents to discuss child progress and address any issues that arise.
- Observe, record, and report individual and child behavior as assigned.
Your Shift:
- Monday to Friday, filling in between hours of 6:30am and 6:00pm.
You Must Have:
- Credits to meet MN DHS Assistant Teacher qualifications.
- A minimum two-year degree that meets Department of Human Services qualifications.
- A willingness to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the center's policies and philosophy.
- The ability to lift a minimum of 60 pounds and see and hear ongoing activities of the children.
