Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, and medical problems. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality care and ensuring the well-being of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the interdisciplinary team in supporting PrairieCare's treatment programs and philosophy
  • Deliver quality treatment to adults, adolescents, children, psychiatric, and substance use disorder patients, and their families, consistent with Medical Staff privileges granted
  • Provide services in various settings, including hospitals, partial hospitals, intensive outpatient, outpatient, or residential programs
  • Conduct individual and family therapy sessions
Qualifications
  • Licensed by the State of Minnesota to practice medicine, with successful completion of an accredited Postgraduate Training Residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Knowledgeable about adult, adolescent, and child psychiatric disorders, and advanced principles of abnormal psychology
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, and ability to access and use intranet sites as necessary
