Job Summary:The Promotions Manager is responsible for developing and executing revenue-driving strategies to enhance district and venue sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior management, sales directors, and marketing teams to drive revenue through strategic planning.
- Exercise independent discretion and judgment to drive revenue through:
- Data collection and analysis
- Special events and social gatherings
- Client relationship building and retention
- Negotiating rates and promotional offerings
- Host events and social gatherings to build relationships with current and new clientele.
- Select and schedule team members to work promotional hours and events.
- Supervise and manage team members during promotional hours and events.
- Host bi-weekly training sessions for team members on data collection, building guest lists, and promotional initiatives.
- Prepare weekly scorecard reports to document performance.
- 1-3 years of experience in hospitality or sales and marketing
- Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Savvy in marketing and promotional strategies
- Highly organized and reliable
- Able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to travel for workshops, tradeshows, and meetings
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
