At Ballpark Village, we're looking for a skilled Assistant General Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and bar, ensuring a professional company image, and controlling profit and loss.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage venue operations within company policies and guidelines, including staffing levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant and bar, adhering to uniform and appearance standards.
  • Control profit and loss by following cash control and security procedures, managing inventory, and reviewing financial reports.
  • Oversee inventory counts, nightly comps, and safe audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to needs and ensuring high standards of service.
  • Assist the General Manager in managing third-party vendor contracts.
  • Complete administrative duties, including financial and personnel tasks, accurately and on time.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise team members, taking disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment, reducing the risk of injury and accidents.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; College degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Good people management, communication, and listening skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and communicate efficiently, both verbally and in writing.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Demands:
  • Moving safely and efficiently about the facilities.
  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Handling food, objects, products, and utensils.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling.
