Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Confirm and schedule deliveries to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  2. Collect and research all CODs before deliveries to ensure accurate payment processing.
  3. Instruct customers to have their room ready for our delivery team to ensure a seamless delivery experience.
  4. Discuss any obstacles that may be encountered at delivery with the Delivery Supervisor to ensure prompt resolution.
  5. Receive call lists from receiving and schedule deliveries and pick-ups with customers to optimize delivery routes.
  6. Accept payments over the phone and select sales for posting at the end of the day to ensure accurate financial records.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  8. Follow all safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Utilize Podium for customer pickups and updating customers in a timely manner to ensure efficient communication.
  10. Demonstrate exemplary time management skills in all tasks and be proactive in seeking out additional work during slower times to maximize productivity.
  11. Coordinate with the Service Department if items need to be picked up to ensure efficient resolution.
  12. Scrub "complete for delivery" with the Director of Operations to ensure accurate delivery tracking.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be proficient in using Podium and other software systems.
