Position Overview

Are you an ambitious Sales Consultant or looking to embark on a career in real estate sales? Are you enthusiastic about assisting individuals in discovering their ideal home? Sales Consultants are tasked with overseeing the sales and marketing of new homes across one or multiple developments, adhering to the standards and procedures set by Rausch Coleman Development Group, Inc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Division Sales Manager and indirectly to the Division President.
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain the presentation of homes in collaboration with the construction field manager.
  • Educate potential homebuyers on company policies, required documentation, and procedures.
  • Ensure the availability of sales literature in model homes, including New Home Worksheets, Subdivision Plats, Floorplans, Price Sheets, Covenants, and Contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records, including Sales Contracts, Daily Contact Logs, Weekly Sales Reports, Color Selection Sheets, and Time Sheets (if necessary).
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with lenders, real estate agents, title companies, customers, and colleagues.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Ensure all contracts are processed and delivered through the appropriate systems.
  • Generate 50% of the traffic in assigned neighborhoods.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using a computer for reporting and updates.
  • Ability to manage paperwork flow between the sales office and main office.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to take direction.
  • Willingness to exceed expectations to achieve sales goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of the real estate market.
  • Experience in a sales role is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional walking or standing.
  • Primarily indoor work with some outdoor tasks required.
  • Manual dexterity and vision required for computer use.
