SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled Aircraft Composites Technician to engage in the repair, modification, and reconstruction of composite components. This position requires proficiency in interpreting engineering schematics, executing various composite repairs, and managing essential repair materials. Candidates should possess a solid grasp of composite materials and their associated processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Repair, replace, and reconstruct composite components.
2. Utilize OEM and engineering schematics to adjust composite parts.
3. Perform repairs at elevated temperatures.
4. Understand the quoting process.
5. Be knowledgeable about standard chemicals, epoxies, sealants, resins, pre-pregs, and composite repair materials, including their MSDS.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
2. Ability to effectively collaborate with maintenance and support staff at all levels regarding job-related matters.
3. Proficient in reading and understanding written documents.
4. Capable of reasoning, organizing, and solving practical issues with minimal oversight.
5. Ability to mentor and guide team members.
6. Demonstrates a collaborative mindset and behavior.
7. Proficient in resolving conflicts positively.
8. Capable of performing basic to intermediate mathematical calculations.
9. General knowledge of major components and their maintenance.
10. Familiarity with procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, and equipment relevant to the role.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in commercial or military aircraft maintenance. An Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant License is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to sit, use hands and arms, communicate, and focus on close objects. The employee will also need to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The role requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

COMPENSATION:
The base salary for this role ranges from $21.50 to $33.00 per hour, exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus. The final hourly rate will be determined based on skills, education, and experience, considering internal equity among team members.
