Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve work packages and drawings as assigned, utilizing online databases as necessary.
  • Interpret work orders and engineering drawings to determine tasks and gather required materials.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments on process-related issues.
  • Rework and repair parts according to specifications, using jigs and templates as needed.
  • Prepare areas for repair by sanding and cleaning, employing both power and hand tools.
  • Apply composite materials, including fiberglass and resins, to repair damaged sections.
  • Utilize mechanical lifts to access and perform repairs in various locations.
  • Conduct minor assembly tasks and ensure areas are ready for final finishing.
  • Maintain safety protocols while handling hazardous materials.
  • Document and submit completed work for inspection at appropriate stages.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with precision measuring tools.
  • Experience reading aerospace engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Familiarity with composite materials and their fabrication.

Work Environment:

This position requires 100% onsite presence. Candidates must comply with Export Control requirements, necessitating US Person status.
