Actalent is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support a critical program for the U.S. Navy Submarine Industrial Base. This role requires expertise in CAD software and metal additive manufacturing to create products for Naval Submarines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with suppliers to optimize additive manufacturing processes and improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity in the MIB.
- Develop and implement strategies to address obsolescence parts or those that can be manufactured more efficiently.
- Engage with suppliers to demonstrate expertise in additive manufacturing concepts, procedures, and machinery.
Requirements:
- Expertise in metal additive manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
Job Details:
- Contract position with a duration of 12 months.
- Fully remote position with occasional travel in the U.S. to different suppliers.
