About You:

As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you excel in a dynamic, collaborative setting where teamwork and patient care are essential. Your strong communication skills with patients and staff, combined with your genuine empathy, guarantee that every individual feels valued and cared for during their visit.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Patient Care: You will support healthcare professionals in various procedures, ensuring that each patient's experience is seamless and comfortable.
  • Prepare Patients for Procedures: You will play a vital role in preparing patients, providing clear and compassionate communication before and after their appointments.
  • Diverse Support Tasks: Your responsibilities will range from front desk assistance to managing prior authorizations and scheduling, making your role crucial to the center's operations.
  • Emergency Preparedness: You will be an integral part of the emergency response team, ensuring that emergency equipment and medications are regularly checked and ready for use.
  • Maintain Operational Standards: You will ensure that all supplies are adequately stocked, instruments are properly sterilized, and sterilization equipment is maintained according to established guidelines.
  • Regulatory Compliance: You will adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Your Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare support role, bringing valuable knowledge and skills to the position.
  • Educational Background: A high school diploma along with a current Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Diploma is essential for success in this role.
  • Certification in Life Support: Your current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider/AED ensures readiness to respond in critical situations.
