A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOME HEALTH AIDE

As a Home Health Aide, you will assist senior clients with daily living activities in their homes.
You will enjoy engaging with clients and providing friendly companionship while fulfilling various responsibilities.
Whether it’s doing laundry, preparing meals, or running errands, you approach each task with a positive mindset.

Clients rely on you for non-medical support, and you are committed to preserving their dignity throughout your interactions.
With professionalism and respect, you assist clients with personal hygiene and bathing.
Occasionally, you may provide care for clients with dementia or cognitive challenges, where your patience and kindness are essential.

At the end of your shift, you will document your activities accurately, ensuring the office is informed of any changes in your clients' care.
Your dedication to helping seniors brings you pride, knowing that your role as a reliable caregiver truly makes a difference.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOME HEALTH AIDE

  • Reliable transportation
  • Current valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Willingness to travel up to 25 miles

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in home care (2+ years) is advantageous; caring for a family member counts.
We are open to training the right candidates.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A HOME HEALTH AIDE

This caregiving position offers flexible scheduling with day and night shifts available.
Clients may require as little as 4 hours of care or up to 24-hour support.
