CV Library is seeking a dedicated Service Engineering Specialist to manage service operations across various locations. This role is pivotal for a well-established family-owned enterprise in the engineering sector, renowned for its commitment to employee development and training.

Position:
Service Engineering Specialist

Compensation:
£35,000 - £45,000 (based on engineering expertise)

Work Location:
Various locations (remote role requiring travel to client sites)

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (overtime available upon request)

Key Responsibilities:
The role demands an individual capable of installing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment to meet client specifications.

  • Oversee the Service and Maintenance of site-based systems
  • Assist and occasionally lead the installation and commissioning of water systems
  • Ensure timely completion of service reports
  • Conduct site surveys, system specifications, and fault-finding tasks
  • Maintain van stocks and company property responsibly
  • Adhere to various standards, including ISO9001 & ISO14001
  • Uphold excellent health and safety practices

Systems Involved:
Reverse Osmosis, De-ionisers, Water Softeners, Filters, UV Filtration, and associated chemicals and consumables.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel to the head office for training purposes is necessary.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified engineer
  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in engineering, electrical, or mechanical disciplines
  • Eager to enhance skills and progress within engineering grades
  • Strong communication skills for accurate reporting
  • Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to high standards
