Job Title: Strategic Account Manager

York Telecom Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our public sector sales organization, you will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with senior leaders across government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales growth and account penetration within assigned public sector accounts.
  • Collaborate with government leaders to merge their mission needs with engineering roadmaps to enable market-making innovations.
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to combine an understanding of the government customer's mission with business acumen to make today's vision, tangible mission outcomes of tomorrow.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience building strategic business partnerships through selling or consulting with Federal Government / Department of Defense customers.
  • Proven track record of effective territory/account/solution management, including opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline management, large dollar licensing and deal negotiation.
  • Executive presence and ability to rapidly build new relations to open doors to expand Yorktel's business.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.
  • Business value and ability to synthesize initiatives across the business, incorporating a cross-functional team approach.
  • Collaborative skills and ability to orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead v-teams through influence, capture, execution.
