Job Description

Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Boston is seeking a highly motivated Food Pantry Coordinator to join our team in Greater Boston. As a key member of our food network, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of our food pantries and other nutrition-related services.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between the food pantry and external organizations, such as the Greater Boston Food Bank and local parishes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase food donation and distribution efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support services to clients, including SNAP applications and nutrition classes.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nutrition, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in human services and a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internal software systems, with a willingness to learn new technologies.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work some evenings and weekends as needed.

Salary Range:

$62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience.
