Job Title: Regional Human Resources Director

Join the American Heart Association as a Regional Human Resources Director and play a key role in shaping the future of our organization. As a member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to our leaders and employees in the Midwest region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and solutions that align with the Association's goals and objectives.
  • Lead HR programs and regional learning and development activities, including leadership development and virtual trainings.
  • Provide support to employees throughout their lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, and talent succession.
  • Utilize HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in culture, leadership, and processes.
  • Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying barriers to performance and implementing coaching/development strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, SPHR/PHR preferred.
  • Three (3) years of proven experience in HR, with at least two (2) years of experience providing employee and leadership coaching.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to and influence individuals at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance.
