Key Responsibilities:

Drive business growth and financial impact by executing the territory sales vision and goals. Build and maintain internal and external customer relationships, research customer needs, and propose solutions to create demand. Present and develop solutions recommendations, negotiate and execute sales and account contracts, and set targets and measure results.

Fiscal Management: Control expenses, product returns, and inventory in the territory. Analyze and assess sales trends, reporting periodically, and plan sales activity based on territory needs to ensure attainment of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Customer Engagement: Maintain regular contact with existing customers to strengthen long-term relationships and ensure satisfaction with products, solutions, and services. Implement and monitor creative marketing activities to expand and grow core business.

Prospecting and Conversion: Identify and maintain regular contact with prospective customers, developing and implementing creative strategies to convert them from competition to new customers.

Customer Records and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate customer files and records to share within Permobil. Report to management about product issues, loss or potential loss of customers, or competitive sales strategies affecting local sales.

Product and Market Knowledge: Study and stay informed on products, technologies, competitive activity, and general information of interest to the company or customers. Apply this knowledge for strategies and tactics to develop commercial activity.

Company Policies and Procedures: Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures, demonstrating the ability to effectively implement them at the territory level.

Partnerships and Meetings: Participate in trade shows and company meetings as appropriate, utilizing approved sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs. Partner with cross-functional teams and internal resources.

Administrative Tasks: Complete all administrative paperwork in a timely manner.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, business, technical discipline, or related area preferred. Prior medical device experience, strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills, and experience in making multiple referral calls daily are required. Proven job skills in business planning/consulting and territory financial analysis are essential. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills, team-oriented, and conceptual/consultative sales skills are necessary. A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience or equivalent, 1 year in the complex rehab/assistive technology industry, and previous sales management experience or experience with market development businesses are required.
