Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at GoAnimate Inc. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales, driven by a desire to achieve meaningful and measurable results, and dedicated to continuous self-improvement.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying, nurturing, and creating new opportunities with prospects and customers alike. You will work closely with our marketing team to follow up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects. Your primary objective will be to balance responding to interested prospects with proactively identifying new opportunities and converting them into pipeline dollars.
Responsibilities
- Use Salesforce, LinkedIn, Zoom Info, and other prospecting tools to research accounts, identify key contacts, and craft targeted messaging to effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Work with Marketing to follow up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects.
- Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements, and correlating potential business ROI that can be provided by Vyond.
- Excite, connect with and qualify prospects by phone and email as well as schedule meetings and demos for Vyond sales team.
- Research companies, contact roles and organizational structures to help inform the account penetration strategy.
Qualifications
- Adaptable - You are adaptable and thrive in new situations where you can think on your feet.
- Coachable and Curious - You are coachable, able to implement feedback, and dedicated to continuous self-improvement.
- Excellent written communication, articulate as well as a strong note-taker and listener.
- 6+ months in a business or sales development role is a huge plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and sales tools (Zoominfo, outreach, Sales Nav, etc.).
- Experience with upselling current customers and/or supporting an account executive.
- A positive attitude and desire to win. You thrive on challenges and have a proven history of consistently achieving quotas or objectives.
- Driven by a desire to achieve meaningful and measurable results, develop as a sales professional.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
