Position Summary

The Human Resources Recruiter plays a crucial role in our organization by partnering with various departments to assess and fulfill current and future staffing requirements. This position is vital in achieving our hiring objectives by identifying and securing talented candidates for open roles.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive recruitment processes to meet the staffing needs across all departments.
  2. Source and engage both active and passive candidates, maintaining a robust pipeline of talent through referrals and networking.
  3. Evaluate candidates through interviews to ensure alignment with job specifications and organizational culture.
  4. Facilitate orientation sessions for new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  5. Collaborate with supervisors and management to determine job responsibilities, qualifications, and essential skills required for various positions.
  6. Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events to enhance visibility and attract potential candidates.
  7. Oversee all administrative aspects of the recruitment process, including job postings and interview coordination.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with prospective candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs.
  9. Develop metrics to monitor recruitment sources, time-to-hire, and other relevant recruitment activities.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the company's objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Preferred certifications include SHRM or PHR.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience is essential.
  • Experience with HRIS systems is mandatory.
  • Previous recruitment experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Paycom is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting business documents and regulations.
  • Skilled in writing professional correspondence and reports.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy in all interactions.
  • Capable of following directions and conveying new information that may impact projects.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Competent in basic arithmetic operations using various units of measure.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in basic computer tasks, including email and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Able to navigate and utilize Paycom effectively.

Abilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive company and employee information.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and organization in a dynamic work setting.
  • Understand and adhere to safety policies to ensure a secure workplace.
