Job Overview

OneWater Marine is seeking a Marketing Manager to spearhead initiatives in a dynamic setting. Our integrated marketing and digital team focuses on marine sales, consumer engagement, and business-to-business (B2B) marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with dealership General Managers, internal teams, and partners; serve as a liaison to effectively communicate dealership requirements, project updates, rationale, KPIs, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Formulate strategic recommendations to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for dealers and strategically position the Yacht Division to meet our objectives.
  • Manage dealer relationships and advocate for alignment in delivering project scopes.
  • Collaborate with creative and project teams to develop creative briefs, facilitate internal kickoffs, and translate dealership goals into actionable project specifications.
  • Oversee digital, print, social, mobile, broadcast, and promotional marketing campaigns.
  • Track and report on budget expenditures.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans and project timelines to support client initiatives.
  • Craft compelling proposals and RFPs, create presentations, and effectively communicate ideas.
  • Conduct competitive research to assess dealership needs, strategies, and tactics (SWOT and PEST analysis).
  • Facilitate and analyze marketing research, including focus groups, surveys, and secondary research reports.
  • Provide insightful campaign reports from various sources and draw actionable conclusions for dealers.
  • Manage email and direct mail campaigns focused on acquisition, engagement, or retention; oversee list management and content calendars.
  • Administer and report on all manufacturer co-op initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or advertising is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience in advertising and media is essential.
  • Familiarity with the marine industry is preferred.
  • Strong background in traditional, broadcast, and print media, along with a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience presenting to dealer principals and general managers.
  • Knowledge of WordPress, CMS, Google Analytics, and web development processes.
  • Ability to articulate and justify media recommendations to clients; collaborate closely with the media and social media teams.
  • Experience in social media marketing across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
