We are a Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) certified hospice dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our patients and their families. Our goal is to change the expectation of hospice care in your area by allocating resources to increase staff-to-patient ratios, resulting in more clinical visits and lower clinician caseloads.

Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in our front office area, reporting to and assisting the Office Manager. This position requires strong communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, balance team and individual responsibilities, and demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Handle various administrative tasks, including communication with patients, coworkers, and team personnel
  • Monitor and self-correct work processes and outcomes, applying feedback to improve performance
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities, demonstrating objectivity and openness to others' views
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and family needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize technological proficiency, including extensive software and computer skills, to support administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, looking for ways to improve and promote quality
  • High School Diploma required; 1-2 years of business college preferred
  • Able to type 50 words per minute
