Summary of Position: We are seeking a skilled Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team at i3 Verticals Management Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing medical billing claims, reviewing and resolving any billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process insurance billing and collections, including Medicaid/Medicare claims, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Review, verify, and submit insurance claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process correspondence from Third Party Payors and respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with insurance companies to ensure claims are paid properly and in a timely manner.
  • Investigate insurance claims that have received no response and resubmit if necessary.
  • Handle claim rejections and file appeals with insurance companies to ensure maximum reimbursement.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and the medical insurance industry
  • Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding systems
  • Proficiency in using computer programs and applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and insurance payers
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and as part of a team
