Director of Revenue Cycle

Acadian Ambulance Service, a leading medical transportation agency, is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle to lead its Client Services division. This role oversees and manages all aspects of the revenue cycle process, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and maintaining knowledge of and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle management office, including billing and collection activities
  • Ensure billing processes meet commercial, network, federal, and state regulations, and are accurate and efficient in design
  • Partner with executives and department leaders to drive strategic initiatives that enhance overall revenue cycle collections
  • Develop and maintain a productive and strategic working environment that prioritizes customer needs
  • Communicate departmental objectives with management team and staff
  • Lead the revenue cycle team's efforts on developing and achieving key performance indicators
  • Establish and maintain relationships with federal and state agencies, trade associations, and other related payor and related organizations
  • Continuously maintain up-to-date knowledge on best practices and innovative ways to identify areas for improvement to streamline revenue
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of management/leadership experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health Care Administration, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products or equivalent platforms
  • Highly proficient knowledge of medical billing and federal/state regulations, terms, and compliance for billing, coding, and collections
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of interactive teams
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple and diverse teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Professional work ethic and dress code
  • Ability to work independently
  • Maintain highest level of confidentiality
