Revenue Cycle Strategic Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Strategic Business Partner to join our team at Ochsner Health. This role will play a critical part in ensuring our facilities achieve their Revenue Cycle key performance metrics and identifying trends and escalating issues as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with facilities to ensure Revenue Cycle key performance metrics are met
- Identify and resolve issues related to Revenue Cycle processes
- Supervise, train, and develop department staff
- Manage Practice Specialists Functions
- Assist with attainment of Revenue Cycle goals and Key Indicators
- Attend various operations/revenue cycle meetings to assist with root cause analysis and mitigation strategies for issues
- 7 years of Revenue Cycle operations experience with specific focus in reimbursement Inpatient and Outpatient Managed Care and Commercial payors, Medicare and state/regional Medicaid programs
- Or 3 years of Revenue Cycle operations experience with specific focus in reimbursement Inpatient and Outpatient Managed Care and Commercial payors, Medicare and state/regional Medicaid programs with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Health Administration or related field
- Strong financial background or Masters of Business Administration (MBA) may be substituted for half of the required Revenue Cycle experience
- Experience in a multi-facility health system
- Knowledge and understanding of Epic and the processes that impact revenue cycle performance and capabilities
- Analytical skills to work in a data-heavy environment and to identify trends in the data
- Ability to work extended hours as required
- Ability to work flexible schedule as needed
- Ability to travel domestically as needed
