Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and record routine, standard, and monthly accounting entries; manage travel and expense credit card reconciliations.
  • Assist the Finance and Administration Manager with budgeting and financial tasks.
  • Acquire goods and services, including travel arrangements and equipment for Principal Investigators, staff, and students.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial information for reports to funding agencies.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience, ideally within a higher education setting.
  • Familiarity with sponsored programs.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday and ResearchUVA PBH is highly advantageous.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic office environment.
  • Self-motivated with a constructive attitude.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and methodical.
Physical Requirements:

This position necessitates significant use of desktop computers and may involve occasional travel for meetings and programs.
