Job Title: Senior Configuration Analyst

Chipton-Ross is seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Analyst to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. As a hybrid contract opportunity, this role offers a unique blend of remote and on-site work.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage product revision control and ensure Truth, Trust, and Traceability (T3) across our manufacturing and engineering design teams.
  • Design, develop, and support documentation traceability efforts to ensure compliance with contractual and internal requirements.
  • Track and control configuration baselines through the change management process for the life cycle of products assigned.
  • Analyze proposed engineering changes to determine their overall effect on the product.
  • Review, monitor, and analyze Technical Data Packages to ensure impacted stakeholders are notified.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent experience/combined education and 3+ years of Configuration Management (CM) experience.
  • Experience with the application of CM-related policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Ability to understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-disciplined teams.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite Products (i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong and accurate attention to detail.
  • Business Acumen.
  • Self-starter and independent working attributes are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational and document management skills.
Desired Requirements:
  • Experience with Product Life cycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Experience with ERP, SharePoint, Windchill, JIRA, and/or Confluence.
  • Configuration Management Principles and Applications SAE EIA-649C.
  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing or design.
  • A full understanding of Engineering Bills of Materials and/or Manufacturing Bills of materials.
  • Technical experience interpreting specifications.
  • Previous experience in a defense, aerospace, military, or logistics environment would be a plus.
Education:

Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent experience/combined education and 3+ years of Configuration Management (CM) experience. **Education MUST be accredited**.
