Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Auto Adjuster to adjust complex auto insurance claims presented by or against our members. This involves investigating and determining coverage and liability, evaluating, negotiating, and settling auto claims. You will also interact with multiple parties to gather information, determine liability, and analyze information obtained to establish compliance for regulatory requirements and settlement value. Additionally, you will evaluate and negotiate settlement of automobile first and third-party physical damage claims within established settlement authority limits. Other key responsibilities include resolving claims through proactive problem-solving and decision-making, collaborating with external and internal business partners, and ensuring risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma, 2 years of customer service experience, and 1 year of experience handling low to moderately complex auto non-injury liability claims. You should also have proficient knowledge and understanding of the auto claims contract, as well as application of case law and state laws and regulations. Your skills in negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution are essential. Furthermore, you should be able to acquire and maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts. We encourage candidates with US military experience, a Bachelor's degree, active Adjuster's License, recent multi-vehicle claims liability experience, and Guidewire Claims Center experience to apply. Other desirable qualifications include Contract Interpretation: Liability & Physical Damage Coverage (Part A & D) and Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists Property Damage (Part C), Dispute resolution experience: Liability Investigation/Comparative Negligence, Unrelated Prior Vehicle Damages, Total Loss Valuation/Negotiation, Non-Owned Vehicles/Rideshare/Permissive Driver, Exceeding Coverage Limits, Arbitration/Subrogation knowledge, and 1-2 years total loss handling experience.
