Job Summary

Trexis Insurance is seeking a skilled and experienced Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our team. This role involves investigating, evaluating, and settling moderate to complex auto claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret personal auto policy language, analyze coverage and liability, and determine the appropriate jurisdiction.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, secure detailed factual recorded statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses, and document the claim file.
  • Evaluate and negotiate Bodily Injury claims, maintain adequate loss reserves, and manage diaries to ensure timely claims resolution.
  • Recognize and assign claims to the SIU Department, meet or exceed file quality standards, and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience handling 3rd Party Bodily Injury claims.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
