Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Counselor to join our team at the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. As a key member of our Mental Health and Addiction Services team, you will play a critical role in providing counseling and rehabilitation services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with substance use disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address client needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs
- Provide education and support to clients and their families
Requirements
- Masters degree in counseling or related field
- Experience working with substance use disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
