Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Exhaust Model Maker who will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards within our exhaust assembly unit. The responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting CMM reports and independently troubleshooting assembly processes to enhance first-piece quality.
  • Identifying and rectifying issues during assembly and inspection to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Verifying that shipped products meet internal quality requirements.
  • Ensuring customer documentation adheres to established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Setting and achieving goals related to manufacturing targets and customer timelines.
  • Developing and implementing processes to optimize Exhaust System assembly.
  • Overseeing the creation and evaluation of assembly tools to ensure optimal working conditions.
  • Applying GD&T principles and understanding their impact on product quality.
  • Managing production planning and scheduling to fulfill both internal and external customer expectations.
  • Possessing knowledge of metal exhaust and assembly processes, with training in lean manufacturing, performance management, and leadership being advantageous.
