Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Specialist - Banking to join our team at Walden Savings Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting our range of banking products and services.

You will handle various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan applications, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to bank policies. Additionally, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless customer support across multiple branch locations.

Responsibilities
  1. Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, maintaining attention to detail and adhering to bank procedures.
  2. Answer customer inquiries regarding account balances, transactions, and bank products, providing clear and concise explanations.
  3. Develop a deep understanding of our banking products and services to effectively recommend suitable options to customers.
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent customer service levels across all branches.
  5. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and transactions.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to banking operations.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
