Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Information Technology (SVP IT) for North America is a pivotal role within the Group Information Services (GIS) leadership team. This position is responsible for cultivating a strong partnership with Group Tech Sourcing (GTS) on a global scale, as well as with Regional and Country unit leaders in North America. The primary objective is to comprehend their requirements and mobilize both local and central teams to deliver essential GIS products and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business executives to provide services that align with organizational goals and reflect the values of collaboration and teamwork.

- Serve as the main liaison for GIS at the regional level and GTS on a global scale, fostering robust relationships with business stakeholders.

- Partner with the Technology Office to spearhead innovation initiatives across the region, aiming for implementation throughout the broader organization. Develop a strategic vision and enterprise architecture for North America while ensuring alignment with Groupwide strategies.

- Prioritize and manage the investment roadmap, balancing the needs of the Group with those of regional, country, and GTS stakeholders, while ensuring the development of comprehensive business cases.

- Collaborate with central and local Delivery teams, acting as the GIS Project Sponsor to facilitate the successful delivery of new capabilities across the region and Group TS. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation and adoption.

- Lead the establishment of product teams responsible for the complete lifecycle of products, from strategic planning through development to operational management, utilizing industry best practices and standards.

- Identify and develop platforms that can be utilized across the organization, driving their adoption and ensuring they are adequately supported and secured.

- Work closely with Operations & Infrastructure to guarantee that live services meet performance specifications, are resilient, and secure, in accordance with agreed service levels.

- Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and cybersecurity teams to ensure that the cybersecurity strategy effectively addresses the needs of the region and GTS, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of cybersecurity programs.

- Partner with the Office of the CIO to manage expenditures, resources, risks, and procurement in alignment with the established three-year forecast and annual budget.

- Actively contribute as a member of the GIS leadership team, promoting collaboration, sharing of insights, and the adoption of best practices across GIS and the organization.

Qualifications

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

- Comprehensive understanding of the IT lifecycle.

- Familiarity with IT frameworks.

- Proven experience in Program and Project Management.
