Job Overview

The Administrator of the Secure Residential Treatment Facility (SRTF) plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions and upkeep of the SRTF program.

This position entails ensuring that the program adheres to all applicable state, federal, and local regulations.

Program Offerings

Elderly and Disabled Services (EDS) operates in Southern Oregon and currently provides three levels of care: Adult Foster Home (AFH), Residential Treatment Home (RTH), and Secure Residential Treatment Facility (SRTF). Our diverse programs deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions facilitated by a skilled and empathetic team, with the aim of supporting individuals in their recovery from mental health challenges.

Role Responsibilities

The Administrator is accountable for the overall success and management of the program. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate personnel, client, and program records, overseeing financial accounts related to clients and the facility, and managing training and medical documentation. The Administrator will recruit, supervise, assess, and mentor staff members. Collaboration with community partners, including state and county officials, therapists, physicians, discharge planners, guardians, and other agencies, is essential. Ensuring the safety and well-being of both clients and staff is a top priority, alongside compliance with OAR regulations and licensing requirements.


Candidate Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related discipline, along with a minimum of three years of experience in the mental health sector. A preference will be given to those with over two years of management experience in settings such as RTH, RTF, SRTF, Outpatient, or PSRB. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, planning, staff supervision, budgeting, and financial management skills. A valid Oregon driver's license and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check are also required.
