Position Summary:
The Water Treatment Engineering Specialist collaborates with fellow engineers, technical experts, CAD professionals, and clients to effectively deliver innovative municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce specifications and construction drawings for upgrades to water and wastewater facilities, booster stations, pipelines, and various civil engineering projects.
- Conduct planning studies, modeling, and hydraulic/treatment calculations.
- Prepare Preliminary Engineering Reports.
- Assist in project bidding, construction oversight, and construction observation.
- Support the contract execution process as required.
- Contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and other marketing/business development initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Adept at managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Possess a strategic mindset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of collaborating with experts across various disciplines.
- Proficient in relevant software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, BlueBeam, or similar tools.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Current Professional Engineer licensure in applicable states or the ability to obtain licensure within six months.
