Shift Schedule: The work schedule operates from 7am to 7pm, following a rotational pattern every other week:

Week 1: M/T/F/SAT/SUN Week 2: W/TH

The Production Support Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining all cGMP manufacturing production areas. This position involves ensuring that production teams have the necessary raw materials and supplies, preparing and sterilizing equipment for use, cleaning used components, conducting routine maintenance on analytical instruments, and fulfilling scheduled cleaning tasks that are not managed by contracted cleaning personnel. A foundational understanding of cGMP compliance is expected, along with training under close supervision to demonstrate aseptic techniques and awareness of cross-contamination when handling products and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute 6S methodology and ensure daily stocking of each production area, while maintaining cleanliness of used components. Assess production requirements for sterilized equipment and deliver to respective areas. Conduct daily and weekly maintenance on analytical instruments. Perform thorough cleaning of inoculum rooms on a weekly and monthly basis. Document all activities in both written and electronic formats in compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and good documentation practices (GDPs), reviewing documentation as necessary. Achieve qualifications for all assigned responsibilities and adhere to an individual training plan. Prepare materials for transportation and delivery to production areas, managing material movements within the production environment. Uphold facility and equipment standards through regular cleaning and sanitization procedures. Engage in administrative tasks, including attending shift exchanges, participating in meetings, managing communications, contributing to projects, and performing additional duties as assigned. Undertake other responsibilities as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous. Experience in a cleanroom or similar sterile environment is preferred. Strong logical reasoning and decision-making skills, along with critical thinking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
