Job Overview

Position Summary

The Production Specialist plays a crucial role in utilizing established workflows and protocols to fabricate our LED display products. This individual will diligently ensure that all items are produced with precision and devoid of defects. Collaborating with the manufacturing team is essential to achieve collective production targets.

Work Schedule

The Production Specialist operates from Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with a paid 30-minute meal break.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehend and execute both written and verbal instructions while providing constructive feedback for ongoing enhancements.
  • Assemble and produce items in accordance with quality standards using hand tools, power tools, and automated machinery across various workstations.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of machinery and production processes.
  • Assist in inventory management by performing accurate and timely inventory entries in the ERP system and alerting the Purchasing department when stock levels reach designated reorder points.
  • Contribute to the 5S Program by maintaining compliance with the standardized work area layout.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and report any safety issues to the Safety Committee.
  • Align personal performance with assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both individual and team objectives.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to learn specific skills as necessary (e.g., soldering, electronic assembly, machining, injection molding).
  • Flexibility to work across different manufacturing areas as required.
  • Self-driven and motivated.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform fine and gross motor skills, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 100 lbs, with the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to stand for the entire duration of the shift.
  • Close visual acuity is necessary.

Compensation

This position is hourly and non-exempt.
