Position:
Healthcare Support Specialist

Location: Specialist Office

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with a minimum of 1 year in the field
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), ideally with the EMA system
  • Current hands-on clinical experience is essential
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Background in a multi-physician environment
  • Capacity to manage a high volume of patients
  • Experience with in-office surgical procedures is preferred
  • Familiarity with scribing tasks is a plus
  • Background in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery is advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient triage
  • Provide clinical support, including transcription and scribing
  • Greet and assist patients and visitors, both in person and via phone
  • Organize appointments and maintain patient documentation
  • Oversee office inventory and equipment management
  • Ensure the confidentiality and rights of patients are upheld
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures to support operational efficiency
