Job Description

Omnicell is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy and supply automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical and automation solutions.
  • Regularly communicate with director-level nursing and pharmacy staff to tackle problems of advanced scope.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring as needed to ensure the success of our customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or a related discipline AND one year of relevant experience; OR Associate's Degree/Trade School Certification/Military Training in an Engineering/Technology related discipline, AND four years of relevant experience; OR seven years equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices.
  • Coursework in Network Engineering, Robotics, or Electronics.
  • Experience working in a hospital environment.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations for medical devices and Quality Management Systems.
