About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician II to join our team at Canon Solutions America, Inc. As a Field Service Technician II, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex technical issues with our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
  • Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
  • Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including basic aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
  • Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
  • Provide direction to less experienced technicians and assist with escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas.
About You:

We are looking for a dedicated individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience. A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class are also required.

The successful candidate will be able to travel, have a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record. They will also be able to work in a 24/7 environment, performing shift work and on-call rotations. Additionally, they will be required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises.
