Job Summary:

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you will oversee project teams to complete engineering tasks such as airspace and earthwork volume calculations, prepare and review technical reports, design stormwater management systems, leachate collection systems, and landfill gas collection systems. You will also perform geotechnical analyses, prepare landfill grading plans and project details and specifications, and develop proposals, project budgets, and schedules. Additionally, you will manage the engineering staff, perform quality control, and interact with clients, contractors, and local/state government officials to impact the whole project from conceptual and design phases to regulatory review, bidding, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project portfolios in excess of $250,000 in annual professional fee revenues
• Develop proposals, project budgets, and schedules
• Manage the engineering staff and perform quality control
• Interact with clients, contractors, and local/state government officials
• Perform geotechnical analyses and prepare landfill grading plans and project details and specifications

Requirements:

• 6-10 years' experience in civil engineering project management
• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field), M.S. in Civil Engineering preferred
• Professional Engineer licensure (P.E.)
• Proficient in technical software and Civil Engineering technology, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software, and geotechnical modeling software
• Established clients/contacts in the Solid Waste client sector
