Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the efficient operation of facilities maintenance and critical systems support.
- Develop and implement plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintenance and Operations
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, including HVAC, electrical, and building maintenance systems.
- Ensure that all equipment and systems are in good working condition and that safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor and respond to critical systems operation alarms and alerts.
- Performance Management
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement plans to improve team performance and productivity.
- Ensure that all team members are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Vendor Management
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Develop and implement plans to improve vendor performance and reduce costs.
- Other Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
- Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum three years of experience in facilities maintenance management and operations.
- Minimum three years of experience in casino or hospitality maintenance operational environment preferred.
- Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to read, understand, and explain blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of emergency shut-off procedures for gas, water, electric, etc.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines when using required chemicals, equipment, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, alarm, and fire systems.
- Certifications/Licenses
- At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
