Job Title: RN - Hospice House

PeaceHealth is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Hospice House RN. This is a part-time position, working 0.70 FTE, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Job Summary:

The RN - Hospice House will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs in a hospice setting. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient care and progress in the healthcare record
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain established hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse in the state of Washington
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical or long-term care experience
  • Minimum 1 year Hospice nursing experience (or equivalent education and/or experience)
