Job Summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice House team. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will provide high-quality patient care, promote a collaborative approach, and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in accordance with professional practice and unit standards.
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record, adhering to established standards.
  • Direct and delegate care to other team members, ensuring their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence are aligned with their responsibilities.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, focusing on quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention programs.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical or long-term care experience, with a minimum of 1 year of Hospice nursing experience (or equivalent education and/or experience).
  • Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
