Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, Voluntary Benefits

About the Role

MassMutual is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager, Voluntary Benefits to drive sales growth in their territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong consultative sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets in the territory.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with major worksite and voluntary benefit distributors, including brokers/consultants, agents, and enrollment firms.
  • Collaborate with the local MassMutual General Agency to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on health care trends, market intelligence, and product information for all product solutions within voluntary benefits.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to enhance sales performance and customer experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with a focus on voluntary benefits, ancillary benefits, or other group benefits.
  • 2+ years of experience generating and analyzing reports to enhance sales or customer experience.
  • 1+ year of experience with MS Office Suite and Salesforce.
  • Licensed agent in your resident state for Life & Health.
  • Ability to travel 70% within territory or other meetings as required.

  • A competitive base salary range of $80K-$100K, plus sales-based incentive opportunities.
  • A total target compensation package of $310K-$330K.
