Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Manager oversees the comprehensive management of the kitchen and back-of-house operations at the cooking school.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that the culinary standards of KWCS are consistently met, including:
- Presentation and proper cooking of food
- Accurate portion sizes
- Efficient and timely service

The Culinary Operations Manager collaborates with the senior leadership team to uphold brand standards and core values while striving to achieve KWCS business goals.

Essential Responsibilities
- Effectively manage food costs and related purchases in line with budget expectations.
- Assist the team in executing all systems and processes to consistently deliver products and services that meet company standards.
- Develop the kitchen team in all facets of kitchen operations, from strict recipe adherence to banquet service.
- Responsible for weekly inventory orders, daily production schedules, cleaning protocols, and overall organization of the kitchen and back-of-house areas.Physical Requirements
- Ability to reach, bend, squat, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push as necessary to complete tasks.
- Capable of lifting, lowering, and transporting supplies, containers, and cases weighing up to 50 lbs. over varying distances.
Additional Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record for the past three years.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the hospitality sector, particularly in restaurant culinary operations.
- Possession of all local food management and safety certifications.
- Successful candidates must pass a background check.
