Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Meritage Homes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and excellence in your assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed.
  • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to sales staff to improve their performance and achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and design, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Realtors, builders, and other industry partners.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the homebuilding industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead sales or sales management role, with a focus on coaching and training.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
