About the Role

This Strategic Account Manager position is responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion within a portfolio of large, strategic accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in consultative sales, with a strong understanding of enterprise-wide issues and the ability to structure innovative solutions that provide IT decision support to global companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and revenue expansion within assigned accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level and senior-level executives within large multi-national companies
  • Provide expert-level guidance and support to clients on Gartner's products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Manage and maintain accurate forecasts and sales performance metrics
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of external experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or hardware)
  • Proven success in building and maintaining strong relationships with C-level and senior-level executives
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-wide issues and the ability to structure innovative solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to develop and conduct effective presentations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
