We are currently looking for skilled Instructors and Content Developers to facilitate courses as part of the Future Operator Readiness, Growth, and Enrichment (FORGE) training initiative. As a FORGE Instructor, you will collaborate with a diverse team to provide advanced, hands-on training solutions tailored to meet the urgent needs of our clients.
FORGE Instructors serve as subject matter experts, engaging in both theoretical instruction and practical lab sessions, while also mentoring students to equip them with the necessary skills for their professional journey and to excel in critical missions.

• Instructors will guide students in preparing to fulfill the essential requirements of our clients.

• They will assess student performance during practical exercises and offer constructive feedback.

• Advanced virtualization technologies will be utilized to create realistic scenarios, providing an immersive learning environment for participants.

• Instructors will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to recommend enhancements to course content, training resources, and documentation.

• Conduct research, document findings, and evaluate security solutions for emerging technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

The FORGE Training Facilitator role requires individuals with a high level of security clearance and a broad spectrum of experience, including:

  • TS/SCI w/Poly Required
  • A Level 2 - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the development, testing, deployment, operations, training, or maintenance of electronic/software systems. Alternatively, an additional three (3) years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree, totaling eight (8) years of experience.
    A Level 1 - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the development, testing, deployment, operations, training, or maintenance of electronic/software systems. An additional three (3) years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree, totaling five (5) years of experience.
  • Experience in engineering design, development, deployment, operations, training, or maintenance related to Windows and Unix systems.
  • Knowledge of setting up and managing common Windows and/or Unix servers.
  • Proficiency in creating and configuring virtual hosts and networks using VMware to support realistic training scenarios.
  • Familiarity with commonly used programming languages, including but not limited to Python, Ruby, and shell scripting.
  • Experience in developing and utilizing training materials with tools such as MOODLE, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, or other learning management systems (LMS).

Preferred Skills:

The ideal candidate for the FORGE Instructor position will possess a comprehensive range of experience, including:

  • Experience in system design, particularly in networking systems.
  • Background in developing, testing, deploying, operating, training, or maintaining electronic/software systems related to cyberspace operations.
  • Expertise in engineering design, development, deployment, operation, training, or maintenance concerning Windows and/or Unix systems.
  • Working knowledge of popular programming languages, including but not limited to Python, PERL, or shell scripting.
  • Experience in creating and configuring virtual hosts and networks using VMware to simulate realistic network scenarios.
  • Proficiency in developing and utilizing training materials with tools such as MOODLE, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, or other learning management systems (LMS).
  • Strong communication, writing, documentation, and requirements gathering skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients to fulfill program requirements.
  • Experience as a trainer or course developer for cybersecurity courses.
